I have a number of years experience in wedding makup. So I have put together this page of wedding makeup hints and tips.
If you have decided to do your own wedding makeup on your big day remember – don't totally change the way you usually look. People should not really notice the make up, Remember you will have to look at the pictures for many years to come so don’t try and make a fashion statement with electric blue / green ect…
Please check back regularly as I will continue to update this wedding makeup page. If you would like to speak to me about available dates & prices for wedding makeup in Brighton, London or surrounding areas, please email: susie@deliciousmakeup.co.uk

Here are a few pointers for brides choosing
to do their own wedding make up -
Flash photography has a tendency to emphasize pink tones, so make sure you even out skin with a yellow-toned foundation.
Set concealer and base with a translucent fixing Powder, this will make it last all day and ensure that your skin looks matte in pictures.
If your wedding dress has an open neckline, make sure your face matches your chest, a light dust with a Bronzing Powder will do the job.
Remember to use water-resistant eye makeup and anti Smudge Mascara.
After applying all your eye makeup finish with a highlighter shade on the brow-bone to make your eyes really stand out .
For a light natural blush that lasts, use two shades of Blusher, one neutral shade and a brighter shade, apply these just on the apples of the cheeks.
Neutral or pale lip colors can look a little washed out in wedding photographs, be brave and go for a brighter shade or use lots of gloss for a shine
Another word of advice for those of you who choose to employ someone to do it for you make sure you see their portfolio first and always always have a practice!
